Privacy policy

Last updated: August 2026

Who is responsible for your data?

The data controller is Lovine Ramkurrun, sole trader trading as Véyé, 635 rue Jules Ferry, 59261 Wahagnies, France. Business ID (SIREN) 891 519 001.

Contact: contact@veye.mu. Full details in the legal notice.

What data do we collect?

Through the pre-registration form:

  • your first name and email address;
  • your phone or WhatsApp number, if you provide one;
  • your profile, the region where your relative lives, and the plan you are interested in;
  • the free-text description of your situation, if you write one;
  • the language of the page you wrote from;
  • your consent, with its date and time.

If you reach the site by clicking an advert, we also record the campaign parameters carried in the link (source, medium, campaign name) and the advert identifier. This is used only to know which advert brought your visit.

What not to write here

Do not enter any health data about your relative in this form: no diagnosis, no treatment, no medical document, no file number. Please also avoid their full name and anything that would identify them.

This form is for getting in touch, not for building a file. Information about your relative will only be collected when it becomes necessary for the service, and that person will then be informed about the processing of their data, as Article 14 GDPR requires.

Why?

To get back to you about the launch of Véyé, to understand the needs you describe so we can shape the service, and to know which adverts bring visits.

On what basis?

On your consent, given through the tick box in the form. You may withdraw it at any time by writing to us; this does not affect anything done before the withdrawal.

What is required?

Only the fields marked with an asterisk are needed to record your request. Phone and the description of your situation are optional. Without the required fields, the form cannot be sent.

Who has access?

The data controller and, strictly as far as their task requires, the technical providers who run the site on behalf of Véyé and on its instructions:

  • Vercel: website hosting;
  • Railway: the application that receives the form;
  • Neon: the database where requests are stored;
  • Meta: advertising measurement, and only if you accepted trackers.

Véyé does not sell or rent your data. What is shared with these providers is limited to what running the service requires.

Where is it processed?

The database holding your request is located in the European Union, in Frankfurt, Germany.

Vercel and Railway are companies established in the United States: some technical operations may therefore involve a transfer outside the European Union. Those transfers are covered by the data protection commitments agreed with these providers.

For how long?

Until the service launches, and no more than 24 months after you signed up, unless you withdraw your consent or ask for deletion sooner.

If you become a customer, the data needed for the contract is then kept for the periods that apply to managing that contract and to legal obligations.

Cookies and advertising measurement

This site sets no cookie for its own operation, and uses neither Google Analytics nor social network buttons. Fonts are served from our own server: no request is sent to a third party while you browse.

When our advertising campaigns are running, a Meta (Facebook) advertising-measurement tracker may be set to see which adverts bring visits. It is set only after your explicit consent, requested through a banner. Refusing is as easy as accepting, and you can change your mind at any time through the "Cookies" link in the footer. Without your agreement, nothing is set and nothing is sent to Meta.

Your choice is kept for six months in your browser's local storage, after which you are asked again.

Your rights

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, as well as the right to withdraw your consent and to give directions about what happens to your data after your death.

To exercise them, write to contact@veye.mu stating what you are asking for. We handle any request within 30 days. Proof of identity will only be requested where it is needed to confirm who you are.

Complaints

If, after contacting us, you believe your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority: www.cnil.fr.

Security

Véyé applies appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure.

Changes

This policy will change when the service launches, in particular once data about the people we look after is processed. The last-updated date is shown at the top of this page.

In the event of any discrepancy between the French and English versions, the French version prevails.
